Pasta Boat Microwave Pasta Cooker (Amazon Link)
Product is $15 with $7 shipping off of the infomercial, but is about half that price on Amazon.
I am not doing a commercial here or anything, lol, I am truly interested in this product.
BUT, the reviews are VERY mixed.... Half think it's absolute crap, half think it's awesome.
This thing would be perfect for me to cook single serving amounts of pasta in... What do you guys think?
Garbage or bargain??
I've seen this before, its the as seen on TV things that weird me out lol...
ReplyDeleteI'd buy it if I wasn't so cheap
ReplyDeleteYo thats crazy!
ReplyDeleteoh yeah i remember watching a infomercial for these
ReplyDeleteit works nicely for small dishes
ReplyDeleteColin B's comment is so ironic, hahaha.
ReplyDeleteHe's got a fair point, though.
There is no substitute for legit pasta.
ReplyDeleteI've never heard of AND 'as seen on TV' products being any good. Even the ones that seems impossible to screw up. It's been something that's always bugged me.
ReplyDeletei agree with you!
ReplyDeleteThe only as seen on TV product that has sold well has been that damn horrible bathrobe blanket combination that is the Snuggie.
ReplyDeleteAlthough I'd buy it if the SnugWOW gag from Bill Maher's skits existed xD
Imagine all the chemicals from the plastic going into your food :/
ReplyDeletedo these things really work?
ReplyDeleteI can't imagine how annoyed I would be every time I should clean that thing!
ReplyDeletethanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteLooks convenient for lazy people like myself.
ReplyDeleteI just want to order a pizza 3 meat, lol
ReplyDeletegreat post!
ReplyDeleteGarbage
ReplyDeleteGarbage for the price if you ask me. Just find something perforated (like a cheese grater) and use it. Might be a little awkward, but I can't see paying that much for this thing. Then again, I don't make much spaghetti.
ReplyDeleteAnd the lady is just down right annoying.
seems to be a good product.
ReplyDeleteSeems like it could work, but I'm fine cooking pasta the traditional way...
ReplyDeleteEh, what a gimmick. People are so lazy, they'll do anything to make the simplest of tasks easier. 'Seen on TV' makes all it's revenue from this one pitiful fact.
ReplyDeleteI don't watch TV...so I prefer a normal pot of boiling water :P don't need those 'useless' stuff
ReplyDeletewell thats handy
ReplyDeleteinteresting product:)
ReplyDeleteI just use a plastic colander it works pretty well! The metal mesh strainers shred noodles. Great stuff mate!
ReplyDeleteI just had stroganoff in a disposable container like this. I was impressed at how well the noodles cooked in it. Id say try it.
ReplyDeleteit depends on how good the noodles come..
ReplyDeletepasta has always been a favorite of mine, the boat seems very handy
ReplyDeleteGreat blog! Following! :D
ReplyDeletethanks for sharing :) bro
ReplyDeletewhat for this shit
ReplyDelete?!
you can simply boil makaroon... you dont need this crap.
Love it!
ReplyDeletethat's a pretty cool gadget!
ReplyDeleteim hungry
ReplyDeletevery interesting post...
ReplyDeletei want some pasta nowww
ReplyDeletethat's great!
ReplyDeletenice, looking forward to the next update
ReplyDeletecool, thanks for the update
ReplyDeleteJust...microwave the pasta in a large glass container, and strain it normally, like normal people do.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a great way to drain your noodles.
