^^ *GEOCACHING* ATTN: There may be a lot of fun for you in this post!! lol *GEOCACHING!* ^^

So a few times when I have wanted to take a walk with a couple of friends, I have been a part of the Geocaching trend!! It is quite fun, and is definitely worth at least one try! The premise is that people make little caches and hide them in places, which they then post on the website with GPS co-ordinates, and clues to find the exact location, and then you sign the log inside the box and maybe trade a few little prizes!

Only 1/4 that I have done have been tampered with, which I feel is amazing in today's world! I would think that more "muggles" (people that don't Geocache) might find the caches and destroy them!! Here is a couple example images of what a cache might look like, and I wish you luck!!

I know you won't regret trying this out and it's a great community over at the website too, although no online community is better than my followers on Blogspot of course!! (;

We've never found a container like this, but the website says it is fairly common! One of ours was much smaller, a prescription bottle! But they managed to fit quite a bit of stuff in there!

Wow do I wish I found one with a rubix cube!! I found a cache this big only once, but they are out there!!
Thanks for reading as always, thought some of you out there might be interested in this!

  2. I think the Everytrail iPhone app supports geocaching, but it's not too popular around here yet, most people are in to barhopping.
